Borrower Information

First Name

First name is required and must meet the following conditions:

Must start and end with normal letters (no special characters).
Can contain any number of special characters, but never two in a row.
Cannot contain special characters other than apostrophes, commas, periods, and hyphens.
Cannot contain numbers, spaces, or diacritics.
Cannot be more than 50 characters long.

Last Name

Last name is required and must meet the following conditions:

Must start and end with normal letters (no special characters).
Can contain any number of special characters, but never two in a row.
Cannot contain special characters other than apostrophes, commas, periods, and hyphens.
Cannot contain numbers, spaces, or diacritics.
Cannot be more than 50 characters long.

Social Security Number

The SSN is required and must meet the following criteria:

Must be exactly 9 digits, dashes or spaces are optional.
Cannot begin with the digit 9.
Cannot have "000" or "666" in positions 1-3.
Cannot have "00" in positions 4-5.
Cannot have "0000" in positions 6-9.

I understand and agree that I am providing ‘written instructions’ to South Carolina Student Loan Corporation (SCSLC) under the Fair Credit Reporting Act authorizing SCSLC to obtain information from my personal credit profile or other information from TransUnion, solely to conduct a pre-qualification for credit.
