Guaranty Services – Loan Recovery Specialist

The Loan Recovery Specialist is responsible for locating and attempting to contact customers to advise them of options in repayment of defaulted student loans and establishing repayment of those loans. Candidates must have excellent telephone communication skills and possess the ability to negotiate effectively with customer.
This position requires high school diploma or equivalency. Prefer at least one year of collection or telemarketing experience.
Information Systems – Project Manager

SC Student Loan is seeking an energized project leader or manager to compliment its talented Information Technology team and to help mature the service delivery processes.
This self-starter position is responsible for the development and daily operation of project management practices, release strategy and repeatable processes in service delivery. Provide SME support on delivery of PM processes, procedures, and deliverables.
Position Requirements:
• 3 years of IT Project Management with proven skills
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Prior experience managing team with varying skill sets
• Ability to handle multiple activities, while managing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to interface with a variety of people in all levels of the organization
• Ability to delegate to team members and provide support to ensure their success
• 1+ year of MS Project
• 2+ years of solid Microsoft Office experience
• Provide leadership to ensure deliverables and timelines are met and delivery of quality products is aligned with business needs
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and at times, act as a change agent

Repayment Services – Account Representative/Collector

The Account Representative/Collector is responsible for assisting customers in establishing satisfactory payment arrangements for their student loan. Candidate must have the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, demonstrate good listening skills and work effectively with large staff, general public and independently.
This position requires high school diploma or equivalency. Prefer at least one year of collection experience with general knowledge of “The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act” and “The Fair Credit Reporting Act”.
